AWESOME FOODGASM: ‘Cocina Centrale’ in Pampanga!

Mercato Centrale finally sets off to Pampanga to give you an awesome off-the-streets food festival. The first night food market outside the Big City of Metro Manila called Cocina Centrale launched at the Marquee Mall in Angeles, Pampanga last Saturday, June 29. It will be open every Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 3am to give you an out of ordinary foodgasm!

The Mercato Centrale founders confessed that they got the idea of night food markets from the other Asian countries like Singapore (Lau Pa Sat market), Thailand (Chiang Mai), Hong Kong (Temple Street) and Taiwan (Ningxia). Thus, “We wanted to bring that exciting ‘street food’ vibe and culture to the Philippines, and give it a uniquely Pinoy Spin”, according to Mr. RJ Ledesma. I bet they succeed in bringing such atmosphere in the country as the Metro Manila’s premier food and lifestyle night weekend markets have been booming in the bright cities of Manila. Good job!
