Staying true to his culture and ethnicity made the Filipino painter and visual artist Benedicto Reyes Cabrera “BenCab” creates timelessly amazing artworks. BenCab Museum definitely exhibits all the essentials and iconic pieces which every artist-at-heart is pleased about. His collections of paintings and sculptures conveyed different interpretations and emotions. Certainly, this is an art gallery worth life-exploring.
"Sabel" Bencab's Iconic Muse by Rene Guatlo
This vagrant woman is one of the best-known muses of the artist's storied career. In her plainness, he saw beauty; in her anonymity, he saw an individual person who chose to live as she saw fit; in her weakness, he saw her native wit and strength. It is a tribute to Bencab that he saw, what he painted, are what endure.
BenCab’s timeless pieces are demonstrated in bold and unique way. Everything from free-standing sculptures, paintings, carvings and figurines has displayed the artist’s vision of the real world of Art.

On other corner of the gallery is very interesting as it displays different pornographic paintings. It could be not minor appropriate pieces but definitely it exhibits an artistic art. By incorporating illustrative nude human bodies adds up more element of intricacy to BenCab’s collections.

Some of his pieces are indeed outrageous but true artists know that his intentions are plainly out of his love for art. His creations categorically made me explore life’s every point of view.
Watching BenCab’s artworks made me appreciate art even more. Besides the artistic edge his creation illustrates, his collections also best show some cultural and historical learning. His gallery could be by far the best art museum I have ever been.
