Daniel Padilla
is now a cover boy material! The 18 year old celebrity teen actor is the face
of one of the leading men’s fashion magazine in the country today – Garage
Magazine. I know he is popular to masses and has tremendous number of followers
but does he have what it takes to become a fashion innovator? We’ll see.

I have always
been an avid reader of Garage Magazine since 2009 when model Hideo Muraoka
covered the ‘hot summer style’ issue. For someone who used the magazine as an
influence for my daily clothing, it is essential that the cover should be an
influential fashion icon. Not to mention but so far, my top 3 favorite Garage
Magazine issues are Oct/Nov 2010 ‘Fall Fashion Special’ (Akihiro Sato), Dec/Jan
2012 ‘Travel Instyle’ (Mario Maurer) and May 2012 ‘Style heats up’ (Zac Efron).
What I love
about Garage Mag is that it incorporates not just local but global fashion.
Plus, the magazine featured not just clothing brands but also cosmetic, gadgets
and food which men are gripped about. That
is why I considered Garage Mag as a lifestyle magazine suitable for male in all
ages.
For this month
of July, Garage Mag introduces the teen actor Daniel John Ford Padilla as their
newest cover model. Obviously the magazine went for someone who is very famous
in the market today. But I have to say that in the cover, Daniel looks very
trendy and debonair in metallic blue jacket with white polo shirt and a black
slim necktie. Dashing Daniel!
We always see
Daniel Padilla in shades wearing leather jacket and t-shirt in most of his
shows. This could be his way of displaying the bad boy style he got from his
Tito Robin Padilla’s influence. In all fairness to Daniel, he looks good in
that style. Apparently, this look of him has captivated most teenagers of our
generation today. So going back to my question in the first paragraph, “does he
have what it takes to become a fashion innovator?” – I bet he does!
